hi all,
I finally got my hands on this set of pasha seats. They have been in storage for over 20 years, and are basically as brand new.
Thanks to PET6, Jõrg Austen, Nicole, and others I've been able to establish that this seat type was actually used in 1981 928s. And miracously I was able to track down a set basically unused. What is the statistical likelyhood for this to happen? I'm now sure that tis is the correct seat type for m y car. Only problem is that my door panels have faded some over the years, so the colors do not match 100%.
Anyway, I'm a happy camper, and guess what? I paid $200 for them...

That is exactly the seats in my Euro 928S from -81.
My wifes first question when she saw the car was:
should the seats look like that??
I like them a lot though, they are very typicall for early -80:s
Yours look like a real bargain, looks like new

Being as old as they are, will the material stand up to day to day use? Or are you mounting them in an infrequently used car? Or do you get some Fingerhut seat covers and call it good?

What a great find! If yours are like mine, the dark places are not stains but the nap of the fabric and the way it lays. The nap consists of fibers on the fabric surface that lie in one direction. The fabric looks darker when viewed from one direction and then the other. Don't know of any way to fix this. I considered seat covers to protect the fabric - but then what's the point of having Pasha if you can't see it?
