Default Roger Clemens' 928 on Ebay?

Questionable taste widebody:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...496278284&rd=1

Says something on the back about (maybe) 1986 Cy Young Award?
I wonder why it's in neutral with the handbrake off.

Something fishy about this. I saw it an new it was his car right away. The vin checked out too. Although I tried to contact the seller and the email address attached doesnt work.

The car was recently sold a Barett Jackson for $32K and with Roger on the verge of another CY Young award this car should sell for more.

So for the $9,000 "make a deal now" you get a Strosek Kit AND an 87 CAR with 32,000 miles already assembled , painted that is really quite a good deal IF you like the look. He did offer it for $9,000 correct ? Replacing the rear hatch is EASY if one wanted to. On second thought probably another scam ............. scam ??

That price does seem fishy...

You didn't tell me all this when I jumped on the band wagon!

ANOTHER hijacked eBay account - IMHO....MOST all of his/her ebay transactions are the purchase of cheap cd's and videos....look at the feedback.

The PICS and most of the description were lifted straight from the Barrett-Jackson Website!! Here's the link -> http://www.barrett-jackson.com/aucti....asp?id=177059

With the Sox -It's a pain pleasure agreement. Read yesterdays Bill Simmons article on espn.com. It tells you exactlly what we are all going through here in Beantown. Back to the 928.

The pictures that are shown on ebay are from the Barret Jackson auction. I still have them on my computer. What makes me think this could be a scam is the seller is offering cash back financing and he is selling it for less than he owns it.

Kinda like the rear bumper cover with the dual exhaust...looks more natural amongst modern Porsches. Maybe someone should invent a center outlet, like Jag E-types or Lambos.

They only have to fool one person .......plus the survey of 928 owners on this rennlist forum stalled out at about 150 responses as I recall. Even if all they can collect is a $1,000 "deposit" that is easy money for very little effort .

The thought of having "the rockets" car back in Boston would be nice. I saw it when he was with the Sox and his plate was CYMVP. Too bad he couldnt carry his own bags.

The auction is no longer on ebay.

Please be aware that auction:2496278284 -Porsche : 928 Please note that we have recently ended all listings for the sellercooch123as it appears the account has been compromised and used by an unauthorized third party. The seller's privileges to trade on eBay may be temporarily suspended while we investigate this matter further.
