16v vs 32v for track

I'm using my 5 speed 924S with some suspension mods as my seat-time mule for autocross and track days. I also want to build a dedicated 928 track car but this season has been fun learning in a "momentum machine" . Good, cheap fun.

Greg excellent point ...learning to walk before you try running , running before you go racing . There is so much to learn off the track about how events run ,what you need to be there, being ready for your run groups . There is no substitute for track time ,learning tire management ,brake management even being sure you have fuel ....nearly every "newby" runs out of gas once ! And at first you have to remember to BREATH ! Your transition from a 924S into a 928 race car should be smooth , very smooth ! And as you point out you have had good fun.

Greg excellent point! Might have to get one of those to throw around the track. But unfortunately I have already run on the track with a 928 SC and going down to the 924 would be tough.

ok I've decided to stay with the 4.5l euro motor
it's a 78, I've got the heads from the 79 already reconditioned, any other parts worth interchanging from the 79 to the 78?
