Default Trade your 928 for my A4?

I know this is just going to get me into trouble with the significant other, but after selling my 911T this summer, I'm suffering some serious Porsche withdrawl. I know I need something more family friendly than a 911, so 928 it is! Anyway, anyone interested in a trade for a '99 Audi A4? 1.8T, 5 speed, FWD, Santorin (sp?) Blue with Ercu interior, sport 16" wheels, sport steering wheel, sport shift ****, moonroof, normal power stuff, awesome A/C. 105,000 miles, drives great, and in really good shape. 30 MPG and fun, but it just doesn't satisfy my fix. I'd like a well maintained and good condition 928, highly prefer an S, 5 speed a must. No projects please. Needs to be halfway near KS, school and work prohibit me from much more than a weekend trip. Let me know if anybody may be interested, we'll go from there. Thanks, Matt

aw, man. I've got an 82 auto in CA that I'd be willing to trade for an A4, but I don't think its quite what you're looking for. Best of luck

That is why I picked the 928 was for having a very cool sports car and for hauling the kids around. Found out later that the car is cooler than expected. I petitioned a trade for a 911 last week and got in a big mess with a 996 NICE fellow. I'll keep the Shark and buy a 911 as a toy.

Good Luck

Mark Anderson just bought 6 928's, I'm sure he'd part with one of those for an Audi.

Not that I'm trying to discourage your trade, but for a few $$$ you can chip the A4 and get ~200hp and 240lbft torque. It still won't be a 928, but it will be a lot more fun to drive!

I searched and got ~$7900 KBB trade-in value for the A4. I'm thinking you may be able to find a 1978 - 1984 928 with no problems as an equal trade. From 1985 on, I doubt you'd find a 5spd in any shape for that value. You may find an '85+ auto if you're lucky. All the best Yes understood private party prices are always a bit higher.

Haha, yes the A4 is a great car, its no Porsche of course, but it sure is fun with Quattro! If onlookers are interested, I'll be selling my 98.5 1.8t Quattro 5spd with sport package, check my sig. PM or email off list. I'm in no hurry .

Hope you guys work out a deal! Santorin blue is a sweet color too
