Ron and I are discussing a potential trade, so we'll see where it goes. heinrich, that's pretty much what I have in mind, I don't expect to trade straight across for a GTS. It seems like decent S and Euro models go between 5-7k, so I think I'm realistic. Bill, if I keep the A4 I'm planning on chipping it, but it still isn't a Porsche.

I searched on Audiworld, VWVortex, Audizine, no luck. Seems that there are a few that are known, but many are a mystery. God only knows why. Thanks Flying Dog, it is a great color, very nice in person.

No other takers? With a car looking that good i've figured you would have them lined up around the block. I've only considered it because I have 2 others. I guess nothing wrong with having 3. Unless you figure maintenance & what cars to leave outside. Well . . back to the garage.

But they are Ron, I just told them they'll have to wait. Everybody wants a piece of the Audi.
Actually, I don't think anybody else has your superb taste.

I recognize this situation. I was in the same place earlier this year. With the 928 a summer only car, I still need a regular ride for much of the year. I had a '98.5 A4 TQMS (that's Turbo/Quattro/Manual/Sport Package for the uninitiated) just running out of warranty, but which I truely loved to drive (yes,it is true). Only problem was that the car was so fun to drive that it begged for more power. My dilemma was whether to replace it or upgrade it (chip, wheels, tires, brakes, etc.)
In the end, I opted for the (pen-)ultimate upgrade: a 2000 S4 (TQMS of course). Amazine what 2 more years chassis development and double the horsepower can do (just under 300bhp and 375lbs-ft torque)! I still love the 928 and nothing will ever replace the feel of driving quickly in it...but the ability to do the same in any weather with 3 or 4 people along for the ride and a load of hockey gear in the trunk...simply amazing. Oh, and you can stoplight drag just about anything this side of a Turbo Carrera too...and the weirdest part? Gas milage is exactly the same as my 150hp A4...12.5l/100kms!
I said penultimate upgrade, as the ultimate would be a Euro RS4 (wagon only). Same car with 50% more horsepower...something like 380bhp/400lbs-ft torque.
Just gotta love those german engineers.

It's the freeways of Russia... everything is sketchy. That's a cool video to watch, but a little more frightening when it's January, there 6" of snow on the road, you're stuck on a bus slushing back and forth between 2 lanes, and people are still driving like that.
However, Moscow does have some of the coolest police cars I've seen; Brabus G500, BMW 760IL (highly modified), supercharged MB S600, a whole lot of M-class and C-class MBs and of course those funny little Russian cars that always crash and get cut apart in Bond movies.
