Its nice that Britney likes Porsches.....its sad that a 928 got dunked into a pool...but it did have some cool driving scenes right before it got launched.....look at it this way.....she didn't pick a 911 or 944....that says something about the image of the mighty shark!

BTW what year and model is the video car...my guess is a late model "S" maybe an 85?

While I think it's detestable to destroy anything gorgeous or of value ... and especially any Porsche ... she can be forgiven to have chosen a n/a Porsche 944, since she *did* spare the 928 and also, goodness knows people are throwing 944's away these days. You can buy them at a mere pittence.

Not that anything Brinny has ever done has ever impressed me.

You guys are starting to sound about as snobbish as the 968 owners when it comes to 944's... lol I've seen plenty of cheap 928's lately too, and most of them haven't been lavished with love from their PO's either.

It was a 944 that got dunked.

I just bought an '85 928S, and now is the time to buy. They are definiatley at the bottom of their market. Nowhere to go but up from here. In reference the Shark going for a swim... Cruise is a home town kid, 'bout my age too, went to St. X High School, and I figured as cheap as I was able to pick this one up I'd reenact that scene from Risky Business when she gives up on me. Now that I think about it... maybe I'll wait for the next hot music chick to come along and buy my shark to swim with, it'd make for a better video.

I think its a shame this happened to any Porsche that's out of production. A Boxster would have hurt less, because the factory is still cranking them out. Everything else is irreplacable.
