Andy here is what I had
1987 S4 5spd, leather seats, rest all burguny vinyl, cracked dash and pod. Stock wheels. Sport option, lsd option.

Here's what I have:
1987 S4 5spd, full leather interior except for a-pillars, new Porsche leather dash, pod, centre console; rear ac delete, sport seats, rear saddle, rear seatbelts, GTS wheels, OttX; clear turn signals. 299rwhp.

Here's where I'm going:
replacing engine now w/ 80k mile unit; installing Keel sc kit; finishing ac line instal (new front lines).
later sunroof delete.

Here's what I'm driving in the interim:
1981 911SC (now running fine except a slight idle hunt)
1985 Marble Grey 928S auto with 81k on the clock.

I want to have the privilege of manually adjusting my heater; windows and locks. I am in the process of lightening and following the Ferrari or Lamborghini way. More leather; less automatic gadgets; less weight; more sound; more power.

Photos are split down the middle by the gutter of the magazine. Tried to take quick shots but didnt like how they came out. Be patient and I will get a scanner and do them right when I return from my trip to rainy Seattle. In addition to Strosek I found Gemballa story. I knew the art director had shot one when we went to Germany and I finally found it. Give me a week or two. Sorry!!

Anyone want a factory club sport sticker? I happen to have one. In fact there were at least two 928 CS's imported into the states.

Thanks

Fst951, sorry I should have been more specific. I meant non-grey market cars. Unless the source I got it from is wrong. Then again this was the 80s and very sadly not many people still track the exclusive cars down in the 928 breed. Sad, but it'd be worth a lot probably to find a 928 CS.

heinrich finished his pint of SABMiller and belched: "I want to have the privilege of manually adjusting my heater; windows and locks. I am in the process of lightening and following the Ferrari or Lamborghini way. More leather; less automatic gadgets; less weight; more sound; more power"

- agreed.

(Except for power windows, 928's are toooo wide for manual windows, reaching over to un/lock the door for passengers is bad enough.)

Perry,

Don't stop in Everett

Friendly advice from the locals.

-Jason

P.s. Sorry if I offended anyone from Everett. I myself was actually born there, really not a horrible place...

Were they the 2 press cars ? Are they still there ?

Seeing as there were only 15 or 17 made (8 or 10 in '88 & 7 in '89 ) it makes them very rare

P.S. what colour is the CS sticker , I might need one for a white car ;¬) , is it for the wing/fender or rear ?

One of these had to be a press car. I remember it being at the magazine office. It was a big deal with the light weight and deleted options.
Jason, Have to stop there!! My best friend lives there. Maybe I can get hin to visit me in LaConner....
If you are going to avoid anywhere it should be the Tri-Cities...I know, I grew up there!

So these two US model Club Sport or at least one of them exists after all
There's some talk of them in this old thread:
