Guys,
Before you come up with even stranger ideas:
If you think something is "extremely cool" or super nice" you would say Affengeil in your daily slang language.
By the way: Not only Germans have strange word combinations e.g. "bone head" does not make any sense in a direct translation.

This is the web page:
http://www.lumi-line.com/
Roger wrote an email to them if they can custom cut those and what colors are available.

LOL...I kinda thought it looked a bit "disco" or "ricer" myself, but it is cool for what it is worth. It's just not for everybody I guess, but then again, neither are some of the mods I have done to my car.

The old link is not good anymore, he is selling everything via Ebay now: http://stores.ebay.com/Lumi-Line
Get in contact with him and get one of his electroluminescent sheets, your S4 door sill letters are biger than my GTS. Measure and let him know what you need. I conected everything to the passenger and driver footwell area lights. Very simple and no problem at all!

Um, OK, but that doesn't seem to answer my question about routing of the wires.
There is no driver footwell light on the GTS as far as I am aware. Do you have one on yours?

You're right there is no light on the river side, sorry.
The wires are very thin and I routed them over the doore sill edge were the clamps sit that hold the door sill in place. From the driver side they run under the carpet towards the firewall and take a right under the center console (nearby the radio). From there they connect to the passenger footwell light. The cable is long enought to hide the AC-Converter in the driver side footwell behind some carpet. You don't wnat to expose them too much because the have a very quiet but audible high pitch noise!
The passenger side is even easier because the distance is much shorter!

Update on the pictures...
Updated the pictures again, the link was not working anymore.
If you do this EL update, laminate your light strips! I sealed my first set with clear tape and they quit their job after about a year due to moisture.
