Ah!

Like all those guys that had the 'split' in their '63 split window Vettes removed because they didn't like it, only to find out later they'd completely ruined a future classic.

Holy crap I didn't see this before and now I really want one. My sunroof is faded now and looks like ****. I'd love to tint that thing 20%.

Porken, any production run yet?

I think Ken gave up on it... making the forms was a real PITA... or words to that effect I agree, if he makes it - I'll buy it!! Especially if its motorized

The one I made was noisy on the freeway, and was hot when the sun shine through it. It was cool to look through, though.

I haven't tried again, because I realized it was beyond my skills to make one properly. Over the years, I've thought that maybe a panel machined from a solid block of acrylic might work, if someone could make a 3-D model of it.

I'm not going to try it, though. I'm just happy my current 5-speed was sunroof deleted.

10% tint will take care of that heat problem. I am also thinking of fabbing a sliding cover like those on cars with moonroofs.
