In Black & White it looks as if you stole a picture from a vault of some secret Weissach research department

Nice

Yes, I though the B&W was a nice touch. I had to compress the file to get the upload to work, so B&W it is!

Default Well done!

That left turbo intake is some clever space management:

No header balance pipe over the back of the engine?

Very cool looking setup John! When will you start selling them to us ordinary 928 folk who need them so badly?

Still working on the price....this crap takes 3X what you think it will....specifically when you have a busy day job and are 40 miles from home! I can say with confidence it won't be cheap, but what is these days! I do have a spreadsheet, but in order to drive the costs down I will need some qty discounts.

No, no balance pipe!

NO detail pics! I have a lot of time in those manifolds, and for those who are wondering, No, they are not copies of Callaway's design of 1983. Mine use Tial 38mm gates, and I have mounted the gates for easy access...I like putting bigger springs in the gates whenever I can

Lotta art work there, I would love to see the "under-the-spider" tube work. I bet that was a real bitch to engineer........

How hot do you think that oil filter is going to get? Are you going to insulate it?

That one goes in my little picture file of COOL 928 stuff, very cool indeed.
Nice job. Looking at the car from the engine bay an untrained eye would never know.

On the subject of these turbo engines. Does anyone have more specs on the one in Excellence this month (seen below)? Use of forged components, compression ratio, fuel mgt etc etc. Part of that article really left me hanging. I wonder where that boat is??

Very nice exhaust manifold. No turbo lag there.

I have a couple of questions. I'm stumped on where that intake to the turbo is coming from. It looks like it goes right in to the timing belt. And did you say you would not show the intake manifold? I'd love to see how you're getting air to the engine. Looks like a looooong path.

It's a tradeoff. You either have the exhaust close, or the intake close. And since it's more important to have lag at a minimum, I remember having to play with the intake side, to make the best of things.

Very nice. I'm just not sure what's happening on the intake side. I guess with less lag, it's not too important, though. Gosh, I get all caught up in turbo plumbing. Love it. Thanks for sharing that.

Plumbing has you perplexed.....that is good! The under the spider plumbing is tight for sure. It is all about knowing where to shape the pipes to fit....and I spent a lot of time on that. My wife could tell you how much time, down to the minute!

I should be able to price the whole thing soon enough. Here is some more food for thought....

I was not going to show these pictures at all, but I figured if I want to sell some parts I had to up some information. This is a hobby for me, not a full time job (though that would be very cool!). So enjoy!
