Well well ... splendid idea Mr Ken ... you are most certainly welcome
to join me and the Prof and my good friend Pat Edwards for lunch ...
hadn't considered wrenching just yet, because I am also opting for a
lower-mileage engine before I bolt the oxygen on ..... Join us? I'll
be there 9/4

Well I can't believe I'm writing this, but ..... Last night Louie Ott confirmed for me that the package was as described and in good order, and according to him, well-packaged. This morning I wired more money to Chad than I had spent on several of my vehicles over the years.

I am now the proud owner of an Andy Keel Supermodel Supercharger system for th Porsche 928, and soon my beloved 5spd S4 will be growling with that system in-place. The new engine arrives today.

She's done OK with hard torque from that 299bhp engine I'm pulling .... no issues. Solid. I figure I've got another 150bhp on top of that coming. My driving style is such that I almost never break the tyres loose, which to me means she'll be OK :-)

I'll give it try (been a while since high school and Univ Latin):

Adam,
If you get a chance will you take a look at the block that you discovered the squirters and 951 rods in ad see if there are throttle body mount pedestal "scars" in the V.
I discovered these "scars" in a low vin "87 auto and took it to mean that it was actually an '86 block.
Hey Andy,

Sorry for being so late on the draw, I just got a chance to get out to the shop and look at the stroker block today. There is a very faint circular mark in both walls of the V. It doesn't look like something was there and then ground off though, the inside of the V looks pretty uniform. The circular mark almost looks like a casting mark.

Totally OT: I've been surfing a Lib Tech Litigator, yes the same one, since whenever they first came out. (1988? Same year as my shark) Only mines a one-off. The skeleton has purple hair (like the Doughboys had) instead of the stock pink. Just swapped out the stock original Sims bindings for some Flows. Big improvement.
