I just wanted to tell a little story about my 1984 928s. I'm a 45 year old single guy. My girlfriend of 6 months moved to Mexico a few days before I bought the car. Gave my broken heart a treat and started looking for a Porsche. Upon further research, decided on the 928s due to the power and being able to fit my kids in the back seat. I bought mine on April 19th in Dayton, Ohio. I was so pumped up about the car that I knew that if I took the car out on the town that I would score some fresh tail.

Pulled up in a parking lot at a local meat market next to a 2004 Vette. There were 2 hot babes hanging out with the guy and his vette. I got out of the Shark and the 2 babes completely forgot about the Vette guy. I ended up with the hottest one of the two ladies. We've been together 4 months officially yesterday.

The Shark did all of the work!!! My broken heart was cured in a few hours after purchase. It has been a joy to dirve tha car. I feel like a 17 year old kid when I fire it up.

Right on Porsche 928s owners!!!

Dude, be glad you're in Indiana ... in Seattle if it ain't lifted and muddy, fageddaboudit ;-) ... but then for the average Seattle gurlies, we do need the trucks to haul that much a$$ around, a little Porsche wouldn't be able to ... .... Anyway, on both your fine acquisitions.

Heinrich, You just need a little more sunshine so the girls can get outside and get some exercise!!!! I am originally from the Tri-Cities and have several friends and relatives living in Northern part of Seattle so I know what you are saying. I am amazed at the difference between SOCAL and there.
Ron, Hasnt worked for me yet. I have two really nice cars and have never enjoyed the experience. Then again around here what I drive is considered average. My girlfriend could care less what I drive. CONGRATS!!!!!

 

Ron . . Congrats on both assets. Give some details about your car. If by chance it has dark blue interior, I have a bunch of stuff. IT will be posted to the freebie list soon. Members usually get it free while non-members have to pay. So spring for the 32 bucks. It will be the best money you probably ever spent. Just one small part will cost you that. BTW . . We wanna see pics of the new ride. Congrats again.

...hmmm.... That's never happened to me. Must not be the car. Maybe it was your magnetic personality! Give yourself some credit!

 

Perhaps worth noting that the other 3,272,362,471 women on this planet were not attracted.........the key to dating remains the same ........expose yourself to opportunities.

 

That may be legal in California, Jim, but not here. Too cold most of the year anyway.

I'm glad that you all got a kick out of my story. I've enjoyed my last few days on Rennlist. Seems like a bunch of cool people. I'll probably go for the membership soon. It's a nice way to pass the time when I'm bored at work. Love my Porsche and my new Girl!

My ex wife was so jealous of my car it was rediculous. I have gotten plenty of looks in this car, but more women like to call out to me in the rover. I guess I havent driven the shark around the right women yet.
