Question New LEDs for the dashboard

928S4 1990

I bought the blue LEDs for the instrument dashboard from jager engineering.
The description they sent wasn't so good.
Have anyone installed new lights for the dashboard? How should I do it?

If you type up the instructions I can tell you what to do, I have done my own blue led conversion and it was pretty tough, only thing is I am not sure how they have replaced the lights with a wedge unit and where the units fit.

More info from you and I can surely help

I have decided to let my garage do this work. I started this weekend but it seems a little complicated.
Thanks for shown interest.

Mani
If I can give my 2 pennies worth. Like Gav I've done my own coversion LED's it's not complicated. As far as taking it to a shop, it will probabaly be many $$$$. Taking the cluster out for the first time is a little scary, but not hard. Call Jager I'm sure they'll help you with the unknowns. There are also several great write ups to get you through. If you still don't want to do it at least wait until the speedo or something else craps out so you'll at least get your money's worth from the mechanic pulling the cluster.

good luck

It took me about 4 hours to do mine. They weren't the Jaeger ones though. Check out the web site below for a great write up from Rob.

And search the archives for "LED Dashboard Upgrade" for a few more tips.

It is worth the trouble, they rock!
