the box full of parts is an extra steering wheel and full wiring from another 928,including fuse box,,cpu brains ect..the stuff in the back of the truck is an extra rear hatch ,,windsheild,,side glass,,door panels,,and a bunch of other plastic interior parts,,,in the back of the car is,,extra head light buckets,,side mirrors,,brand new water pump,,rear window trim(along with a bunch of extra window trim) and a bunch of other misc parts
mind you this will be a track/custom 928,,so the fact that the interior aint pretty doesnt bother me,,,
ive got him down to 3800$
p.s,,,can anyone identify what the toggle switch under the hood is connected to??

Jaymz -
That toggle switch is hooked directly to the POS terminal. U need to see where the other end goes! I would guess - some sort of poor man's theft deterrent - cutoff.
$3800 seems QUITE HIGH for this car! Others may chime in with their own opinions.
For that kind of $ - I'll sell you my own (incomplete - barely started) track project. '79 EURO 5spd, already stripped and complete with an EXCELLENT CONDITION '85 EURO (310hp) engine.

The engine alone is easily worth $3k...the coilovers $500 and the rack another couple of hundred - so it's like getting the car for free!!
If you are interested - PM me. I really wanted to get it going, but I just have TOOOOO many things going on to be able to give it the time.

That car will require a lot of hours and $ to get to where you want it.
If you can get it for under 1k, you have some mechanical and electrical (especially electrical!!!) skils, are willing to put in another 5-10K and many many hours then maybe consider it.

Somebody once told me "God gave you two feet to walk away from a bad deal."
You are offered nothing but an expensive nightmare - as sad as it is. While Hacker's suggestion is probably more realistic, I think the buyer should be paid for putting up with something like this. There's nothing worse than incomplete projects...
