Hey Jaymz.......You will find all those 928 guys there in Michigan an excellent group. There is more 928 talent in your state than you can shake a stick at, GREAAAAT people. I planned on attending the frenzy but unfortunate circumstances forced me to miss it. I hope it is around again next year so I can attend.....Take-care and good-luck with your wounds....

From: Back in Michigan - Full time!
A good time was had by all... well I think a few are still having a good time (another reason why NOT to have kids... babysitter was only until 4pm ) SO I thought I'd post a few pics.
There was one casualty... "SHARKS" or Mark H's red 928 (pictured below) died during the fun run. He tried to pull the fuel pump relay, but couldn't get it pulled to jumper it. His FPR read "0" so it was definately a fuel issue. Bummer.
One other note... there was an 84 911 that was out of this world! It was a unique color... pearl white metallic. It rocked!
Enjoy the pics.

Mark's car was fixed and back in Pinckney for dinner. It was just the fuel relay.
It was great seeing so many sharks. I'm pretty sure we outnumbered every other type of Porsche except the 911.
I brought a dozen or so 928s myself.

Check out my thread "New tool added to rear tool box". After getting home it took me all of 2 min to get the car started again. Drove back to the Blue Martini and had a great dinner and even took 3rd place in the mid 80's class (all models) people choice awards. Thanks for voting guys.
Jaymz, the rims cam with the car when I purchased it. I would have preferred 17's instead of 18's, but they do fit well. I also have one that the PO hit a curb with (have been meaning to fix so I have a spare if I do the same thing). Please post some of your pics when you get them developed/scanned. You are more than welcome to meet us in Royal Oak (Four Green Fields Pub - SE corner of 12 mile & WW) on the 2nd Thursday of every month for some dinner and 928 fish stories.

Jaymz:
Nice to have met you and the other 928 guys.
You all should have come on down to Toledo for the Autocross. I won in Improved -3 and was about 1.2 seconds off of the fastest time of the day which was set by Modified 4 class car. (The classes don't go any higher than this) non street legal full race prepared cars.
The M-4 car was a 914/6 with 300 HP at the rear wheels and anly 1900 pounds.
It seemed like the day was a blur. We drove the C-4 on the "rally" and I really enjoyed being right behind the two S-4's for the last half. Wish I had been in my 928.
I hope you will all keep in touch.
