Default Airbag alarm

Hello !

I have an Airbag alarm on my dashboard (GTS 95).

I have cleaned the airbag connector under the passenger’s feet, close to LH board.

My UDT999 can’t connect to the airbarg system.

As I am aware that tool is capable of resetting an air bag alarm. If yours does not do so then you need to contact Theo directly to get his take on the matter.

Thank you Fred

Theo's answer : If your UDT999 can connect to other ecu’s, like the EZK or LH, the UDT999 communication is fine, the problem lies in the Airbag ecu. You can try to power down the ecu by disconnecting the battery of your car, keep it disconnected for over 15 minutes, and then connect and try again.

If connecting the UDT999 to the airbag ecu still fails (and connect to the LH works fine), I’m afraid your ecu is defect.

You can try to unplug it and plug it in again but it is unlikely that this helps. You may need a replacement ecu.

I can connect to LH and EZK, and I have disconnected the battery. several times.
What about the ECU airbag ? Is it this very expensive part 944 618 217 02 ?
