Curious if anyone knows a shop in the Portland OR area that has the Bosch Hammer diagnostics tool? I am battling an intermittent airbag light currently. I cleaned the crash sensor connectors like many on here have had luck with but I do not have the tool to reset the light. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

IF you can't find anyone local with a Bosch Hammer, consider joining the 928 Owners Club. The club owns a Bosch Hammer, and makes it available to members free of charge (but the borrower must pay shipping cost to and from their location). Hammer is kept by the Owners Club Treasurer who is located in Maine.
There is a software program from Theo Jenniskens that many owners have on their laptops that can also re-set the airbag light. You can also purchase that software program from Theo for your laptop, and it is VERY helpful for 928's. Theo's website is: https://jenniskens.livedsl.nl/

Gary, appreciate the advice. Unfortunately my timing belt snapped the same day I posted this so it will be quite some time until I’m worrying about the airbag light again…
