I recently noticed a few drops of water dripping on my foot while driving. It only happens with the A/C on, so it must be related. I am going to be dismantling the interior to change out the vacuum actuators soon and want to fix whatever if possible. Is there a drain under there or something else?

Mine too...wet throttle foot...only with A/C ON....

Check the drain from the A/C - To be cleant from the underside of the car - a rubber hoses

Either the drain for the evaporator box is clogged, or the box itself is cracked/broken. The first one is easy to correct. Look for a drain tube under the car right about where the torque tube starts.....clean it out with a flexible wire. To fix the second one very well might mean the removal of the pod/dash/column etc. in order to find and repair the crack for the evap. box, or the replacement of it.

Thank you....will try to clean it out with a long piece of nylon cord (weed wacker type)...CAREFULLY.
I used to have to do this on my Honda products (Accords, Integra) routinely. I'll pray that nothing more seriously is lurking...cracked evap box.

I fixed my wet foot problem by re-sealing the evaporator housing. The caulking material tends to dry out and the two halves separate allowing for water to escape. Its quite a bit of pulling things apart but definitely do able.

Where is the evaporator located, under the pod on the drivers side? What type of drain line is it, rubber or metal? Is it in the open and easy to get to? I just don't remember seeing a drain line down there. Does anyone have any pics?

The evaporator housing is under the center of the dash while the drain is at the front nearest the firewall. You need to pull the console side panels and parcel trays to get at it. It is difficult to locate as it is behind most of the vacuum controls. If you can locate it from underneath the car, it is a rubber tube about 10MM in diameter.

Be careful in your attempts to clean it out as it might be brittle and fracture or it may also be twisted or bent by work done by POs.

Repairing the housing is even a bigger job that requires much disassembly of the console and dash to get at. It's on my list of to do's.

I was driving home last night WITHOUT the A/C on and I felt some water drops on my foot. As soon as I got home I squeezed under the dash. I could see some water collecting on the black spiral duct which is located behind the pod. It was closer to the center of the car where it hooks onto a plastic duct or the evaporator I do know which. Does anyone have any ideas since the A/C was not on when this was happening. By the way it was raining last night.
