Richard S,

Thank you for the info on the Targa Newfoundland.
http://www.targanewfoundland.com/pdf...PPLICATION.pdf
$4500 CDN - Targa Registration Fee
$3500 CDN - Touring Registration Fee

Think I'll pass for now...put money in savings account for upgrades and maintenance on my Shark

BTW, I'm NOT surprised to learn that there are no open road races on the East Coast (USA). No room to run such an event.

It would be GREAT to run an event down a closed section of the BRP...talk about fun! But, the speeds would be MUCH lower than those posted in this thread...

Best,
Tim

Great job George!! Averaging 155MPH and you were only .047MPH over?? I wouldn't even think that would be possible to do, and that was only good enough for second, WOW.

The reason for George only running 4psi boost is the routing of the intake air to the SC is restrictive. Because the MY90 and later cars run the oil cooler under the radiator you can't run the intake ducting through there like on the 87-89 cars. We figured out a solution that looked good until the belly pan had to be put on and one of the mounting locations for the pan is directly in the middle of where the intake duct is. George had to squish the duct to get the pan on but running a little lower on boost was a better solution than running high speeds without the pan in place. I'm pretty certain I have the fix all figured out and will be sending George the parts to make it work like it should. So far I have a different variation to the kit for every model year that has been sc'd to date.

Here are a few more photos that my son took (we were the event
photographers, so we got the good seats).

Here I am on the uphill run around mile marker 34.

Here's Bill going downhill between 5 and 6 (25 turns in 50 miles).

This is Tim being followed by the blue Corvette.

Lag (probably should start a new thread, but this should get more views to the main topic),

See Tim and Bill's responses....plus the a/f ratio was 12.8 to 11.0. This
was measured on Tom Cloutier's dynapack (thanks Tom). The rwhp also
varied a lot (+-30) depending on temperature. Once the intercooler
fluid heated up, it lost a lot of power. I'm in the process of adding an
additional fan on the intercooler radiator (compliments of Tim).
