Just had the oil changed last Friday and Saturday I started the car at my neighbors house ( was parked on a steep driveway) and the check engine oil light came on. I stopped the car and checked the oil and it was perfect on the dipstick. My question is, could the angle of the driveway have pulled the oil from the sensor long enough to make it come on? I drove home from the oil change (31 miles) no problem and after checking it I started it up again and it didnt come back on. Was afraid to drive it on that trip so I parked it until I can drive it around and stay closer to home. Just curious...

The oil level sensor is in the very front of the sump - so if you parked facing steeply uphill, it is possible for the 'low level' alarm to come in. On the level, it needs to be down ~1.5 qts (out of ~8) before the alarm is triggered.
If there is Pressure on the gauge, and oil shows between the dipstick marks, drive on!

if you were on a steep incline dont worry about it.
To get an accurate oil level reading the car has to be level. If your nose up in a driveway the oil will go all the way towards the rear of the engine and the oil level sensor will trip. Even more so if you dont have a GTS pan baffle.
