Anyone have any opinions or thoughts about these? Or has anyone installed one of these etc and would like to hear your thoughts ie. how easy it is to install and if it would damage the paint etc? They look like a nice alternative to the normal lettering but just wanted to see if it would be worth the $129 they are charging etc. (ie. if it's a piece of plastic sticker or whatever)
I've posted this same question! The photos on Jager's website are not very clear or helpful. It would be nice to locate someone who has actually installed one, or at least seen one installed. If it comes off as a cheap GTS wannabe, then it's probably not much use.
I'd like to get one meself !Wonder how raised is it from the bumper cover itself. Is it held on with velcro like the Gts. Is it easy to remove. Say -maybe should go out looking for a GTS. But I'll wait till it's dark! Mike. Anyone?
Hi Saxapeel -You think so! I've pretty much heard real good things about they're products. Asking 129$U.S for a high quality sticker is insane. I can't believe they'd try to get away with that. But they are Canadian after all! Mike.
Everything I have ever seen from Jager Engineering was high quality and well worth its money. Some items are a matter of personal taste, others just plain helpful to keep the shark up and running and looking good. Either way, you can be confident that what you're getting is not a rip-off. Paul would not risk his reputation by selling a cheap strip for the price of a quallity part. I have personally spoken with him and feel that I can absolutely trust him!
I have one of his tip shifters, and the lock surround overlay kit. I am thinking of ordering the switch overlay kit to preserve the printing on the original switches. Some day I mighti also get a center console trim kit from him...
Hi Nicole. So would you buy the reflective strip sight unseen. I still wonder how it would look on an S4 bumper cover with the reflective strip sitting higher than the tail lights -because of a lack of a detent in the bumper . You/Anyone? Have or know anyone that has one? Thanks. Mike.

Would I buy it? Well, if I'd like the GTS rear look I certailnly would. But personally I prefer the look with the separated tail lights. That's my very personal preference, and there is nothing wrong with the other choice. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and if you like the look I see no reason why you should not support someone who puts a lot of effort into designing products that visually enhance and individualize our cars. The nice thing: If you don't like it, it's reversible. Noting lost, other than your money...
Paul does some really GOOD things; however, even if this is a lexan reflective strip identical to the OEM unit, it must sit proud of the rear cover surface. The GTS cover is shaped to allow this strip to sit flush (see below) - so it all depends on what 'look' you want ...
Hey Garth,
I imagine that even in Nova Scotia it must be getting near to the time when those Sport Classics can get mounted up! I'd still love to see some pics of the car with those on.
I bought Jager's strip off eBay a couple months ago for about $30. It was their prototype. I have not yet installed it. The strip is about 1/8" thick. The instructions show taking the tail lights out and bending the mounting studs so that the portion of the light toward the center of the car sticks out 1/8" to match up with the strip. The outside ends of the taillights will stay flush as they are stock.
