Hey Garth,
I imagine that even in Nova Scotia it must be getting near to the time when those Sport Classics can get mounted up! I'd still love to see some pics of the car with those on.

Just a friendly reminder...
Hey Chadster,
Haven't forgotten you - actually reflecting on your comment the other day as the snow was melting . The Michelin PS2s are mounted, and one rear wheel test fitted: looks good! A few warm days, and the Konis go on - then the wheels. I'll get some shots soon .... been a long hibernation ...

byrdman454, any chance you can post some pics when you have it installed? I'm curious to know how they would look and hoping for some better quality pics than the ones on the Jager site...

I can do that, but the problem is that it will be a while. The car is going into paint in 2 weeks. It will probably be in there for 3-4 weeks. I am still on the fence on whether or not I am going to use it. If I do use it, I will post pics, if not, it will be for sale here on the list. I have found a couple pics of the strip installed here on the list. Do a search and you should be able to find them.

First... hi everyone. I was searching for this item from Jager site and there is nothing about this GTS style strip. There's only PORSCHE raised lettering available, not the strips.

I actually prefer 928 with the red strip between the lamps. Somehow it gives the car more modern look from the rear. I'm surprised that this kind of mod hasn't become more popular.

After excessive searching from this subforum I found nothing... except two or three pictures of S4's having the strip. I really like this look. Pic credit to the guy who owns this white one (forgot who was).

Thanks. And hi from a "new" 928 lover. Quotation marks because I've admired the Shark since I was a little boy. It's the only Porsche I have ever really loved... the masculine, macho rear, those exhaust sounds and incredible performance. And it doesn't desperately scream "LOOK AT ME" like the 911... which (besides being a great classic) has always been a bit too garish for my tastes...

Cheers!

Hi:

This item is no longer available - in fact, it's been quite a few years since it was phased out.

The only solution I see at this time is to replace the rear bumper cover with a GTS cover and using the original reflective strip from the GTS. You could then sell your original S4 cover to someone who needs one and wants to keep his/her 928 looking original (the S4 rear bumper covers are NLA).
