Never used anything but the original wetter stuff. I am digging around the PET CD to see if there is more info on upgraded cooling systems. Also curious mainly, no real problems.

No, - Does it improve the taste of straight anti-freeze?
I didn't think so when i tried some last saturday, but it may be an acquired taste.......

BTW, Jim at INTL says the 87 to 93 fan controller modules are all the same....ie no upgrade.......

Hi Gretch,

It's the controller that is mounted in the nose, I believe. I looked around a little, but have had no luck finding any info regarding upgrade.

I plan on bypassing / redesigning.

Well I will be very interested in your redesign ideas..............If you care to share them....On the presumption that my system works as it was designed to, I intend to leave the controller aspect alone, but but add more fan CFM capacity. If I find it not working to specifications (ie proper voltages at various sensor settings) I am gonna get it fixed.

Looking at the specifications that jayC67 posted above, I think it is an elegant solution as designed.........

Let me know what you do.........oh fellow "blown-sharkster"......

Default final stage

One of the changes for the 1992 928 GTS

P.S. at one time I looked up the wire diagrams for this and from what I remember, it "should" be a plug and play swap from as far down as 1989.
