Okay, the '93 GTS is already sold. The '91 black/black S4 for $9900 has 120,000 miles and used to be red! And the '87 S4 5 speed for $10,200 has 150,000 miles on it. Those are the only ones I know about for sure, because I've already called on them.
Cars.com is a great site for these cars though!

Low Miler,
I should have known you'd be on top of the details of these apparent "bargains". What's the deal with that '84 Euro in TX? Anyone here buy it?
I emailed about the '91 GT A/T in Delray Beach, FL but got a reply saying please call the salesman....gee thanks! Is there a story with this one Low Miler?
Hey, did Carl buy that Weissach Edition #172 yet? If not, I'm calling dibs on it....

Thanks SteveG. For a while, I thought only the 86.5 has the 32v engine.
But the 86.5 has the other S4 goodies (brakes, suspension) as well...whereas the 85 does not, correct?

I think the S4 for sale in Sacramento was listed on ebay recently. If it is that one the interior is kinda ratty and it has 180K miles on the odometer. It had been repainted but not very well. If anyone is interested I could give it a through wringing.

Geoff, I wondered about that S4 in Sac...price seems low, so something must be wrong. Of course, if it runs well, it could be a great open road race car....put in a Devek roll bar and a harness, should be good for 165+ mph....at that price if something were to happen at a race, you wouldn't feel so bad. Like they say, if you can't afford to go home without your car, maybe you shouldn't be racing it.

Anyone know about the 78 silver one?

tuk,
The only thing I know for sure about that '91 GT is that it is not a '91 GT!
All GT models are 5 speeds, no exceptions! If it's an automatic, which you said it was, then it's an S4. At 70K miles for a '91 S4, the price is just about average, nothing special.
Now, I do know of a REAL '91 GT that is red with tan leather with only 56,000 miles that could be bought for around 24-25K if your interested. It's not my car and I will not make any money on it. I just know it's for sale if your interested. You can call me at 317-506-3022 for the guys name and number.
Dan,
I didn't actually go look at that '91 black/black in Cincinnati for $9900, but I did have him send some pics. As it turns out, that car was originally red and had been repainted black................not good for resale value!

Low Miler,
I thought something was amiss with the 1991 928 "GT"....A/T. My understanding was that NONE of the GTs were A/Ts. So thanks for confirming that. Perhaps I'll email the salesman and tell him about the error in his listing...
Best,
Tim
