Default Shark ICU 56K warning

Well, since I'm up late and posting pictures anyway, I thought that I share a few pictures of my project. I bought this car last November sight unseen from the original owner. It looked great in the pictures that he emailed me, and the price was low enough that I was willing to take a chance.
The car arrived in MA complete with a full service history from day one, a set of snow tires in the rear, and an envelope with photographs dated 1994.... I immediately had the TB/WP/Tens. done and then pretty much parked the car until the beginning of the summer when I drove it down to my father's repair shop. Currently the engine is out of the car waiting to go back in. I'm not going to bore you with everything that I've fixed/replaced, but the list is extensive.

Anyways here are a few pictures of the project in progress.....

ps. No offense intended to those who choose to drive their sharks throught the winter salt and snow, but you are kidding yourself if you don't believe that mother nature is slowly destroying your car....

Looks like fun. I wish I was there. Must be hot though.

Default Engine Out

BTW. I take full blame for the fender damage. The car is heading to the body shop next.

What happened to your shark's right eye? Why the bandages?

Default A little rust....

These pictures really don't do justice to the amount of corrosion I've had to deal with.

Esprit, how did you get the car to sit on all four jack stands?

Anyways, I've taken a ton of pictures, but I'll save the rest until I have time to post them to a website.

Andy: You're missing all kinds of fun This is just a glimpse of why I didn't want to bolt your kit on right away.

Nicole: My reflexes weren't quick enough to take advantage of the S4's brakes when the Saturn in front of me slammed on her brakes. I'm always preaching the evils of following to closely to my girlfriend, and then I had to show her this...

Thio: I raised the front under the lower control arm supports and then placed the jacks under the jack points. Then I raised the rear at the transmission crossbrace. If you search through the archives, there are several possible points to jack up the front end.

Nice rear suspension/lower shock bolt. Luckily mine did not come out that way. Good luck with your project.

Jim,
You got it. The other side was nearly as much fun. We soaked them both for two days in penetrating oil but it didn't touch them. In the end, heat, a hacksaw, and a really big hammer won out.
