Question Fender removal

I'm in the process of removing fenders and have hit a speed bump. I have all of the visible bolts removed, however the fender still feels fairly secure back near the door. BTW I'm working on the pass side if it makes a difference. I started to remove the charcoal cannister and the washer tank when the dinner bell rang so I thought I'd get some input before returning to the garage. Where is the bolt I'm missing? Thanks.

There's three 10mm bolts covered with undercoating against the door under the fender if you have those out there is a sealer that has the fender glued into place. Gently lift up on the front of the fender and pull out at the same time ..you will feel the glue give way then pull strait toward the front of the car and taadaa

Thanks Big Vic. I'm headed to the garage now. BTW your project is looking sweet!

Keep the pics comin. It's motivation for some of us to go out in the garage and tear something apart!

Hey Big Vic, When I got all of the bolts out and started the lift and pull maneuver I discovered what looks like windshield bead (the black tar like substance) along the top of the cowl holding the fender down like concrete. Is this crap supposed to be there? I did finally remove the fender with the help of a few expletives.
It looks to me like all this crap did was form a nice damn to trap all kinds of road grime up on the cowl!
Did your car have anything like this?

Supposed to be there. It's what makes pulling the fenders such a joy

That glue holds on pretty tight. Be careful pulling up on the fender while working it off.
