Prior, or even current, ownership of a shark is not a proper prerequisite.....
For example, just cause some of my buddies are married does not mean I am gonna lend them my bride for the weekend........
My car can't talk (at least to people other than myself), but if she could, she would have tha same reaction to the "lending" idea that my bride would...........they both would be unimpressed with my concept of ownership and commitment.....

Thanks everyone for giving me Angina! I thought I was doing a great thing ! In the mid 8o's ,I was a bit of a back of the class groupie at the exotic car club they have here. At the time I was driving a 77 Honda civic!! I spoke to this one gentlemen about his brand new 86 Lotus Esprit ,one of my dream cars. After about an hour of my going over every nut and bolt and glue on that vehicle ,he asked me if I would like to sit in it! I almost fell over! No exagerration! Now I'm the kind of guy that still askes the mother in law if I could get a Coke from her fridge. And I don't even like her.Anyway ,after a little bit of sitting in there, he ask's me if I would like to drive it? I almost had an anxiety attack. After calming down ,I'm sure this gentleman was relieved as well. He tells me about the difficulty in engaging first gear at low RPM ,and to watch the power surge when the turbo spools up at 3400rpm.Then he says be back in one hour. I'M GOING ALONE!!!! I had tears in my eyes and of course I was scared, but I knew this person, this car -this chance would never happen again! So off I went and I was back in a half an hour. NEVER WILL FORGET THAT DAY. I think I'm just trying reciprocate this gentlemans generosity. My bud is 26 and perhaps he will always remember that day as well.. BUt if you guys keep trying to convince me it's a bad move,I just might have to tell him I changed my mind!.....Had easier time of breaking up with girlfriends over the phone than giving him the bad news!
