I used a 5/8's hole saw. Its ID was Real close to the 14mm stud. I checked various brands for the correct ID. I ended up with the HomeDepot's white Buldog version. Its OD was 15.9.

Warning! Drill kick back,,,, if you haven't already had the drill kick back watch out. I can laugh at myself now. Not only was it bad enough that the lug broke but the drill had to kick back and hit me in the side of the head.

Yes I'm drilling away and think,, What if I drill too far and have to buy a new rim. That would just make my day, so I lean over to get a closer look and yep I get the drill in a bind an bam bam bam. Bosch 3/8's 3 points and I'm saying That's going to leave a mark.

The flexy-cable-attachment for the dremel is much narrower... you might have better luck getting that in there than the whole tool body.

I got one wheel off today. 2 to go. No wheel damage (outside of some nicks). Need to replace one of the studs.

What a pain in the ****! Still, progress is progress...
