Default Magenta luggage cover 928GTS

I'm looking for a new luggage cover for my 1993 GTS. I found several ones in Europe, but not in the right colour: magenta.
Does anyone know where to find one, or just the material, so I can make one myself?

Have you tried Sandra Amberg (Schnelle-Kurve@t-online.de)? She made mine and offered a variety of colors. She will send you a fabric sample for your approval. She is in Stuttgart.

Thanks. Yes I tried. She is willing to produce it, but she doesn't have the material and does not know where to find it either.

As long as the subject is up on the board, I need a luggage cover for a Yachting Blue GTS...

Anyone? Anyone?

Bueller? Bueller?

A guy by the name of David Honnell (I think) used to make nice reproductions in correct factory colours but made from a UV resistant modern material. I can't seem to find him online anymore, however.

( davidhonl.com )

I bought a Honl luggage cover around twelve years ago, and can attest to the quality , great fit, no sag or sun bleach etc.

I think I'd just call Brian Wasinger and turn him loose. If he can replicate an early cargo cover to this degree, imagine what he can do for a late one in an interesting color.

NOS vs. Repro- which is which?
