To maximize help here, always tell us the year of your car. There are many big differences year over year. From the picture, it looks like an early car - a 78?

thats a hose for the electronic idle control valve.
Roger@928sRus.com should be able to get one for you.
By the looks of the things you may also need new fuel injection hoses,
and the 8 rubber collars that connect to the spider body,
as well as the center hose that joins the body to the lower air guide assembly.

NOTE please include the year of the car and the model and transmission type

I think he is referring to the hose to the auxiliary air regulator. Is that the same thing Stan? (PET calls it what I wrote)

The AAV or AAR, or EICV as Stan calls it.

All I can tell is that it's not MY84 based on the long oil separator breather hose.

Also, on several of the fuel injectors , the plastic sleeve under the seal (where it pushes into the runner), are damaged… is this a problem if the part thats actually in contact with the rubber seal is still good even tho the very end by the injectir nozzle is chipped?
Thank you to all… I’ll have a ton of questions!!

Replace the two U-shaped hoses to the fuel dampers, the one at the fuel cooler (on the firewall) and the feed hose on the passenger's side of the engine right away. Order the 16v injector hose kit from Roger (928sRus). Pull the rails fuel rails & dismantle them while you wait for parts. Refresh the injectors while they're out, or send them off to be cleaned, refurbished, and flow tested.

Thanks for the advice… i have pulled the fuel rails and have made my own injector cleaning thingy and found only one injector to be non functional… the rest have had carb cleaner pushed through and appear good. Car seams to have vacuum problems and I want to sort that out. I think the power brake booster is bad but don’t know if its a problem somewhere else thats not allowing vacuum. For now I have the hose to it clamped so as jot to have a big vacuum leak( if infact its bad)
