Default 88 928 S4 value

Looking for some advice and reasoning to do it or not.
There is 1988 car in the area that been in storage for 10+ years, Per owner-he changed fuel, car starts and dies shortly - he thinks fuel pump or filter. Car has under 90k miles, AT from pictures looks decent inside and out, no accidents. I do have decent garage/space and work on my cars all the time (BMW M6, C6 Vette, S6 Audi, Porsche 997tt, etc), I know the timing belt/water pump, fluids, tires should be changed ASAP
How much is it worth in current condition and is it worth getting into it or just stay away. TIA

Really need some Pic's of the car, Under hood & Interior too.
Was it dry storage or in a chicken coop? Makes a big difference if it was damp.

The non-running issue doesn't sound too bad, as it does fire up.

is it moldy inside? most of them are if they are on the East Coast or near water.
Why was it parked in the first place?

Interior from the one pic doesn't look too bad, I'm assume the dash/pod is cracked?
Under hood looks like a top-end and front of eng (T-belt/WP) is differently needed.
How's the overall paint?
The 88' IMHO is a great year for S4's.

No rear AC - That would a plus for me.

If the paint is in good nick and visible body damage $9500.

You are rolling the dice since you can't drive it.

figure 6 to 8 K for the intake refresh.

First thing is to do a crank end play check before you spend any money,
as these TBF machines seem to pop up from time to time

For reference, this '88 recently turned up in my area:
88 928 S4
Other than the ugly front seats and cracked dash, it looks fairly nice for $16K.
Yeesh...maybe not a good reference, I just noticed it's a used up car @ 240K miles.
