Default carbon fiber dash finally done

ok the dash is done. Right now its 1.5lbs without brackets and 4lbs with brackets. Now im waiting for my evo hood and pod. Also if anyones interested i talked to NOS about a kit for us that i think im going to go with its part#05131. Its a wet kit that goes right into your throttle body and comes with 3 jets 30 up to 75 but u can go higher.

Looks good! Pretty interesting that the brackets seem to be heavier than the whole dash...

Are you going to make cutouts for the air vents? What about a matching center console? It's kind of tough to stop, isnt' it?

Hey Lou; you just might have your car down to around 3000 lbs now! Maybe less. Why not get it on the scale and see how flabby she is!

Nicole,
im going to use the original bracket from the dash and trim it down. I removed all the material from the original sheet metal bracket that was in the dash ill take pics tomorrow after im done with that. As for vents, well lets say its a summer car with windows, LOL. No a/c or heating it was removed along with the sunroof system which is now replaced with a carbon/kevlar filler piece.

Lou,

That dash looks good. Where in NY are you? I would like to see it when it is together. Send me a PM if you want.
