One of the (many) irritating glitches I need to correct on my car is the driver's door. The key will not turn the lock; the external handle is wobbly. I'm wondering if this is 2 problems, or one... fix the handle, fixt the lock? Or are 2 fixes required? I haven't opened the door panel up to peer inside and understand the mechanism.
It's a drag to unlock the car from the passenger side, then walk around to the driver's side to get in...

Could be related.
First, tighten the door handle assembly (need to pull the door panel).
Then, see that the small nylon coupler is attached to the door lock assembly.

When you get in there, you may discover that the pot metal door handle lift assembly has cracked (very common) - you can get a new one at 928 Intn'l for around $40.00.
