hello,all, i am trying to find out if stock 993 wheels will work on our 87 s4. nos. are: fronts 993-362-124 55 offset 17/8 . rears are 993-362-128 55 offset ,17/9. thanks, kevin

wATCH OUT FOR THE front offset - it stayed at 65mm despite the rear moving to 52.3 with the different rim widths. The front is VERY sensitive to wrong offsets, as it changes the scrub radius, and thereby the whole stability and tracking . One of our group recently changed from Cups with wrong offsets to dish with correct, and said the change was VERY obvious within a mile, for the better.

thanks scott, i finally got an s4. 87 with 128,000 on the clock, is a 5 spd. and has lsd. black ext. tan leather int. excellent shape! has org. window sticker and every single recept for maint. since new,totaling $32,000 ! everything as new. thought i would share this news, hope we can get together and run these cars sometime soon. whatcha think?

Kevin thanks for sharing the numbers on repairs ; 16 years , $ 32,000 for an average of about $2,000 per year that is about normal .

Kevin,
I had the 993 rims on my 84 and there was no problem the only thing i had to do was keep the original 3/4 spacer on the rear.
