Tony, I thought the rims were originally painted. You telling me they were originally polished?

Hm... I want to get it back to 'stock'... Wonder if there is a polishing shop in town here...

Thaddeus,

The original rims were annodized. Painting will not be stock either. Polished rims look very nice. I have some on my S4.

Nice job on the car! Looking good! I understand your center air vent is looking primo. Use some leatherique on that interior. For some reason, the burgundy interiors seem to need more upkeep to keep them looking good. I have three Burgundy interiors and that is my experience.

The funny thing is, I can't tell for sure if it's faded burgundy or brown! I need to lift some carpets where the sun didn't shine.. no, wait, let me rephrase that...

That is the problem with the original Burgundy color. It tends to start looking brown. The newer burgundy has more purple in it, but I don't like it as much. If you maintain the leather well, you can always order some custom Leatherique dye to touch up the faded areas. I have some spare Burgundy leather pieces you can match up and send them to create a matching dye. They need a 1" square to custom match colors.
