I'd be doing the battery re-package next before re-doing the interior - just so the cells aren't having to be stored elsewhere taking up space, and you can cut that thick alloy battery base plate up into "in size" dimensions for the scrappy and get some money back to pay for the USA-Aust shipping cartel.
Or better yet, get more for it by using it as decking for an aluminium trailer project.

Did your car have the 10 speaker sound system? I've been searching everywhere for a dead bass speaker. A few suppliers have the mid range.
My stereo guy threw it out along with a mid range and I need both to cut out the plastic surround bezels to mount new drivers.
