Congrats on getting the Jag wheels spinning!

Stu's videos are very entertaining. Big weight off his mind getting the wheels moving. Matt's reaction to the unforewarned manhug was classic Aussie. You should spring another one on him. "You're the best mechanic EVA, Mate!".

I'd be doing the battery re-package next before re-doing the interior - just so the cells aren't having to be stored elsewhere taking up space, and you can cut that thick alloy battery base plate up into "in size" dimensions for the scrappy and get some money back to pay for the USA-Aust shipping cartel.

Or better yet, get more for it by using it as decking for an aluminium trailer project.

This concept will soon be far more fun with the commercialization of the QS Solid State batteries that are the next stage of EV evolution.

Quantum Scape has passed another milestone in its development process with the VW group and testing across the brand line has gone well. Mass production is getting closer by the day.

Imagine twice the power density and a 10 to 80% charge in fifteen minutes. A battery with almost no degradation after a thousand charging cycles at 2/3's the weight of todays cells and ultra safe because there is no liquid.

Damn!

Big milestone for my project today:

Only two small errors required fixing to get it moving. The VCU needs more configuration work before I can take it out on the road, not to mention reinstalling the bonnet (with its spectacular chrome grill). Looming looms. Interior work, by and by. I have cleaned off nearly two years worth of garage dust.
