Please Help Me Put Together a Suspension Package

My apologies.
Worth mentioning, I doubt that anyone can compete with places like Sunset Porsche, on the price of the factory pieces. I believe they can work as low as 10% over their factory cost.
One of my friends has been getting parts cheaper, from Rose Passion, claiming that even with shipping, they are the cheapest.
This only works, up to the point where the US government "catches on" and pieces have to go through customs, adding import duties

I'm back from Thanksgiving Holiday, on Monday. I gave Mary a complete list of all the pieces (some of which you may or may not need) on Monday, but she was not able to update the "monthly" Porsche parts price increases and figure out a good package discount, in enough time to send to you.
My apologies.

But most orders aren't checked if the box size is small in my experience. So many parts sneaked by at no added cost to me.
Their parts really are so much less than here and the parts that are kept in Germany are on my doorstep in under 4 days instead of 2+ weeks at the dealer if I wanted to pay to expedite.
Can't beat buying whole rear end wiring harnesses for $150!

Anyone have a good rear spring to utilize with the bilstein rear shock? Just use my take off? I’d rather have a new one.

I drove my ' 93 GTS over the weekend. It is still running all the original suspension bushings, so they're now 31 years old. I did install Bilstein HDs on 928 Clubsport front springs and stock rear springs about 10 years ago. The ride, in short, kind of sucks. So (as a data point) I'm going to install the following stuff this coming weekend:

That’s an impressive collection of parts Rob
.Note the new front spring upper rubber anchors are 10 mm thicker than the originals so reduce the height adjuster a few turns when you start the project
Just for grins for the rear LCA test fit the Rocker bushings into the frame slots I put a set in and had to shim them with a 1 mm fender washer otherwise the frame eccentric slot will be crushed I DK if any changes to these bushings have been made to make them fit better
Also consider new Derling rack bushings.
Note unless you have a special tool your not going to be able to replace the rear sway bar bushings and I don’t think you can do this till the trans axle is dropped to remove the sway bar to work on it
Good luck with your refresh

Rob,
I did this package on both of my cars, one time with Bilstein and the other time with Boge red, you will like the outcomes.
Pushing the bushings out and in isn’t the work time worth, if someone offer the arms in exchange go for it.
I bent my 15 t press in the process.

Agreed that it's not worth it to R&R all the bushings yourself, it takes me probably 4-6 hours to do the pair of rear lower suspension arm bushings alone . But AFAIK there's no one that offers that as a service, not surprising given how much work it is.

The European manufacturer of the bushings is doing it, maybe Mark should call them and order the complete parts.
Partworks.de had in the past the single parts but is now only offering the whole assembly in exchange.
Maybe a lot of customers had trouble with the process so they changed the delivery.

You will be WAY more pleased with the outcome, unless you plan on wanting the "Paris to Dakar" look.
"Version 2", if you read this thread, before the dumpster fire.

Stop by and let me "massage" a few of the pieces. Call and I'll tell you which ones.

"Version 2", if you read this thread, before the dumpster fire.
2. Fairly straight forward modifications, to improve the handling and improve the NVH. Allows the car to be lowered into the 150mm range. Reduced understeer because of modified pieces which allows the car to be properly lowered and still have front suspension travel without riding on the bump stops

From your response to Rob's post and your statement of "massage a few of the pieces", this to me implies that to get to your Version 2 level does not require any true custom parts. In other words someone could apply these tips and tricks to their stock suspension? If this is the case, are these tips something that you would be willing to share?
Thanks,
Brent

So, I'm not sure if I'm helping to diffuse the situation but what Darklands posted is pretty sweet. Unless I'm mistaken, there is nowhere in the US these can be acquired, correct? I reached out to Parkworks and tried to persuade them to sell me a set but I was unsuccessful. Apparently, the issue is receiving the take-offs back...Customs problem. Anyway, does the 928 community have someone who can put these together for me? From what I have been researching, the rear lower control arms can be very difficult to refurbish, and I'm afraid I'd be unsuccessful and ruin them. I hope someone might be able to help me out. I can obviously supply all the parts if needed. Can anybody help me out??
