Hey guys,

I have an 89 S4 that needs the bulb for the HVAC replaced. Does anyone have a pic of where it is located? I have the unit pulled and the top off but I don’t see the bulb. I remember on my 87 it was hidden in plain site. I can’t remember where it was located

 

If you follow the black light transfer lines it leads to the back of the bulb housing
Its sort of centered between the upper and lower parts of the boards
use thin needle nose to remove the bottom wire on the light holder so you can pull it free
