I offered up a spare LH via email but Roger beat me to it. Awesome service as usual.

slownrusty, remember when a simple unplug/replug on the LH fixed your car? I told Bill to try that next.

Great news! The loaner LH from 928sRus fixed me up. Car now idles perfectly, revs and returns to idle without a bobble, even cold. No longer need the fuel pump jumper as relay now gets LH signal and operates as it should.

Thanks for the inputs, time to button everything back up and give her a bath. All other systems are working fine and ready to go get inspected.

Next project is rebuilding the suspension and upgrading to Bilstein shock and 928 Int'l springs. Any thoughts, suggestions or links to guides on the suspension, please do share.

Best,
William

Ya, just rebuild the suspension. No need for different springs that wont match the shocks..its a step backwards.

Replace ALL, ALL..of the rubber. 90% of what you hate, is from old rubber.

Again, ALL of it.

Actually, the springs were designed to go with the shocks. Was quite a popular and well regarded option from 928 Int'l 15 years ago, especially for those who who wanted to do a bit of track time. I just never got around to installing them.

Yes, plan to do them all, but wondering about the process. If best to buy rebuilt with bushes already R&R. Understand it can be quite a chore.

I replaced the lower a-arm bushings on an '89. World of difference afterwards. In that case, I bought the bushings from 928 International. I had my shop R&R the bushings.

Next time I will swap a-arms and send the cores back to Mark.

Buy em whole from 928intl, save you hours..with them in your hand its entirely 0 minutes of additional work if you already have the springs coming out.

Do it Speedtoys way, doing the bushings by yourself isn't worth the saved money.
One vendor here in Germany canceled the bushings and sells only rebuild arms in exchange!
