I am looking for Driver door and right rear quarter panel rub strips. New would be preferred but used in excellent condition. Black color is a plus. Part #'s 928-559-042-03 & 928-559-034-05-G2X
... as a non-owner but follower, I cracked a smile at the thread title... I thought the crowd here was more like "NOT wanted: rub strips"...
Cheers
Aesthetically they aren't very pleasing to some, but as these cars continue to age and are better maintained and restored to original specifications they will be a necessity.

Agreed.
And personally (again, a non-owner) I actually think they help define the line/ shape of the car a bit; there are so many curves (beautiful) that it needs just a bit of line to it. I think the rub strips supply that. But to each his own!
I also think the Italian supercars of the 1980s have the OPPOSITE problem. So much boxy angle-ness, so much square-ness... where's the curve???
Cheers
Much cleaner without as the door and fenders already have a character line there, but if the car has the holes already then it makes sense to save the money of filling the holes and repainting just to replace with nicer pieces. Looks even better with no side markers too (might be illegal in some states).
Agreed.

I agree 100%, the design is a bit too smooth and soft without the strips and spoilers. Cars need SOME trim in my opinion, and without any visible bumpers, strips, spoilers or even vents the OB looks too smooth like a bar of soap.
