Pretty cool PORKEN!
Im probably just going to use one of the ones I just found at Autozone. 10"x12" core 3/4" thick.
Yank the stock one, chop the hoses and just use the hose clamps and barbs that come with the aftermarket one...or i may try and splice it all together in series. depends on the room and the airflow restrictions to the radiator.

Tony hose clamps and barbs are not FAA approved nor PCA or POC for oil lines ......too many oil downs of the track when one blows off !!

hmm..good point Jim. I never even thought of that. Ive got an Earls catalog , so now i have to browse through it. I have to find out what frikn size threads are on the Air cooler first and then find a hose shop around here..

Anyone on the size of the fittings?

Except for the cosmetics and anchoring the cooler to the brackets, its done
Up front and retaining the stock cooler as well.
About $100.
Cooler..some hose...fittings and labor at an Aeroquip hose shop.
10X12X3/4 core. Hayden if i recall?

...next the heat exchanger under the front bumper.

Tony,
What are the dimensions on the Cobra cooler?

Looks to be worth more than what you paid but I would have someone shoot me if I paid over $600.

http://www.gordsfordperformance.com/

look under "specifications"
This is an aftermarket companay for the Cobras.
Stock is OVERALL: 26 x 6 x 1.2

CORE: 22.5 X 6 X 1.2

Area 135 sq in
Volume 143.5 cu in

As you will see the aftermarket ones are WAY bigger in size and volume and about 400 bucks.

You think 680 bucks is expensoive they want over 300 for the pump at ford!!

Im starting small as room/airflow to the rad could obviously be an issue.
If it all works, ill step up to somehting with more cooling capability.
102'F yesterday...105'F today. Im looking forward to the cool weather at SITM as posted in an another thread.

Thanks Tony,

For reference the heat exchangers I am using are core size 7.25" x7.75"x 1.75" Volume = 98.328 Area = 56.1875. 2 of them will fit in front of the radiator w/o removing anything from the car. They have 3/4" inlet and outlet.

Good Morn drnick.
Tony will have added HP from SCing therefore more heat in the transmission and he lives in Las Vegas (very very hot there)

oh and sorry nothing much new to report in the way of the 16V SC yet, besides looking at various OEM type redaily available on e-bay SCs to use as well as the autorotor.
