First SITM I arrived in a Saab. At least Greg Nettles was impressed. He was a Saab guy too.
Well, officially on vacation

Well as of 4pm today, I am not going to be able to make it. I thought retired life would be pretty easy going but that hasn't proven the case as of yet! I hope everyone has a great time and I will see you all next year!

What an awesome weekend.
Sean picked me up and dropped me off at DFW, I'm now 100% sold on the Koni shocks, his latest acquisition (a very beautiful car) rides perfect.
We killed a bottle of Heaven's Door Thursday night (brilliant idea, I passed out on his patio).
Friday as the rest of the crew started to roll in, saw a bunch of familiar faces I haven't seen in forever, and new faces attached to known names.
We split up for dinner, I joined the group walking to a nearby brewery for dinner.
Afterwards, parking lot shenanigan's were had until about 3AM (another brilliant idea)
Saturday morning @Chuck Schreiber drew the shortest straw to take me along on the fun run. I proceeded to navigate group 2 down the wrong way of a one way country road and I had the incorrect address for stop number 1 and took everyone directly to a brewery (imagine that).
Lunch was awesome, headed over to Becker Vineyards where I'm pretty sure someone in the group got engaged to a bridesmaids that was there with one of the many brides groups enjoying the location. Details are very fuzzy on that.
Back at the hotel, everyone scattered for a bit, then re-grouped for dinner and more parking lot shenanigan's.
To everyone I haven't seen in a long time - It was great to see you and catch up
To everyone I met for the first time, see you next year!!!!
Big thanks to @ROG100 , @LauraV , Mercedes and the rest of the 928's R Us Crew. A very well run and fun event!
Special thanks to @Jeannie928 for calling me several months ago and demanding I attend, and to @hans14914 for getting you there. Really missed you guys.
Bad News:
My plane out of DFW is broken, instead of leaving at 4:30 it looks like 9PM and I'll be sleeping in Chicago (how silly being "stuck" 3 hours driving time from home).
Good New:
My gate is connected to an IHOP that has Buffalo Trace.
Cheers!!!!
