Flying out at a reasonable time on the 2nd isn't looking realistic with work. So now I'm looking at flights into Austin since that's a much shorter drive than DFW.
Earliest flight lands around 1:00PM. I can either hitch a ride with someone or rent a car.
Hacker, Renting a car is expensive these days. Take Jason up on his offer. It'll be much more fun!

When I was first checking flights, there was some great deals flying into Austin and I have so many travel points the rental car wasn't much of an expense, so that seemed like one potential option.

I'll be limited to how much I can bring since I don't plan on checking anything in. Thankfully the GB airport has some local beer for sale after security I can buy and toss in the belly of the plane.
Well, after 26+ years of 928 ownership I'll finally be able to attend a 928-specific meet. Since we now live in TX, and not too far away I decided it's now or never.
Anything special to bring other than bourbon?
I'm not comfortable taking the 928 as it is not quite up to snuff. Any problem driving up in the GT3 or will people throw rocks at me? Looking forward to meeting some new friends.
