Ok I have almost 100 megs of 928 pictures on my hard drive and only 2 of them are of the Weissach Edition. Does anyone have any pictures of Weissach 928s? Also, anyone have the luggage that came with the car as an option and a pic of that too???

The pictures Jim linked are of a guy's weissach here in Detroit. He has one of, if not the absolute, cleanest weissach's complete with matching luggage (and if you aske him he'll say he has the matching cowboy boots, but don't let him fool you!). He's on this list, but mostly a lurker. I believe his handle is "Sueden", Name is Dennis. I used to have a whole bunch of pics, but my HD crashed about 6 months ago, and I lost all the pics. I may have them on a web site somewhere, if so I'll post here.

wow... I have never seen such a gorgeous Weissach 928 in all my life. Absolutely beautiful!!! I have never seen the luggage accessories that came with the special edition 928 before, which is why I asked for them. Were there any additional pieces that could have been ordered besides the suit protector and suitcase, like from a Selection brochure (if they had one in the 80s)??? I'm envious to anyone who owns those 928s

IIRC the Weissach came standard with three pirces of luggage: 2 suitcases (1 med. 1 lrg - lrg is pictured) and 1 garment bag. It's a pretty well known fact that most dealers "liberated" (Read stole) the bags from the weissachs prior to delivery to the final customer. So to have both the car and luggage in mint condition, is extremely rare! BTW Dennis does have all three pieces.

 

Andy...I just caught back up reading some on Rennlist...I have a pristine Weissach (just turned 40,000 miles....yes...forty thousand) and would be happy to send you some pics.Let me know if there is anything in particular you'd like to get.
