Default Does this look like chassis damage?

I have been looking at a project 928. Does this look like chassis damage in the driver's side footwell?

Just a guess but I think the OP s referring to the apparent gap in panels just to the right of the keys in the footwell of the second photo??

What make you think That? The keys are not in the footwell.

I think it must have to do with the diamond plate, but then it is also in the passenger footwell, so who knows.

Where did the OP go?

After purchase if you ever plan on selling that car with a salvage title and get any value out of it. Good luck.

Why would you dredge up a 3-year old thread by a person with 9 posts and hasn't been active for 2.5 years?

I had the same thought. But it's been a slow week so I decided to play along.

After answering questions in many threads,
the original post date is what I usually check first.

NOTE This will give you an idea of how old the requested info is..

Every so often someone will answer a question from 3, 5, 10 or 17 more years ago.
This clearly indicates that they never looked at the opening post date of the thread..

That said I too have answered questions to years ago posted threads.
Now if I catch it I try to point it out...
Happy hunting !
