Default Greg’s AC line flex hose replacement

Greg;
I believe my 86.5 has aluminum lines. That high pressure line flex hose piece near the evaporator needs to be replaced in mine. Have you developed an insitu replacement and parts for that flex hose piece? Thanks!

Which line are you talking about? The line that Greg's fix is used on runs from the receiver/drier back to the expansion valve. On my 86.5 that line is bronze and a steel fitting can be brazed on to it with a high silver content brazing rod.

In my picture, that is kind #7. Yes, connects to the drier.

Edited, after a couple of phone calls, with people telling me that I fixed their leaking hose:

Sorry, I do not have a "fix" for the aluminum pipe version that I can send out.
We do have an "in house" repair, but the installation is too complex to offer as a product.
Additionally, I've gotten really tired of people stealing my ideas and products, so there is very little motivation to offer products, like this.
