July22-aug5 2022
wheels freshly powdercoated with fresh pirelli rubber. also repair, refresh of the spoiler mounts including upper rivet strips and rivets, and repair of a small hole in the bottom of the spoiler.

Red marked lug toward valvestem on the 16" wheels!

The new rubber!

New alternator ducting also went in at this point while the wheel arch was back out.

Repair complete! Only proper sized access hole left where the damage used to be.

Sept 5-22 touching up the paint under the flip up spoiler and applying Teflon rub strips. Repainting exhaust tip.

Can only buy 1 side now, so found the same material and thickness and made a template. Just like the other original.

Filled spots worn into paint and a little sand and polish got things good enough before adding the teflon.

I went to polish the tip and then realized it was painted black! Was tempted to polish anyways but decided to make it how it was.

Sept 25 2022. Photoshoot attempt #1. Got some good pictures from this but changing cloud cover and sprinkles made it so I don't have a full good set of pictures with proper lighting. I also decided to address the center caps I missed having powdercoated with the wheels, and have the dash recovered since, so once the center caps show up I plan on more pictures.

Windshield washer hose and valve replace. Also cleaned/repaired the intensive washer motor, mainly just to see if I could. Cleaned up really nice so decided to keep it.

Holy moly this guy was rusty!

But it all came right off and worked great!

Replaced the fasteners and reglued the liner to the center console door.

Recheck of the flex plate for preload and clamp for movement after a few hundred miles of driving. Flex plate was perfect and paint marks indicate no movement too. Cheers, my pkclamp style clamp seems to be holding!

March 27-april 25 2023.

Second key sent to Australia and back for cutting. Worked great.

Missed getting the center caps powdercoated with the wheels. Finally got them done.

Center caps match now!

Fog light after the lens cracked. Needed some R&R!

New lens and everything tidied up inside.

Looks great on the car.

I ordered new keys with the VIN direct from Porsche. Took three days and work perfect.

65 € for the key, 40 € for the head with led, 30 € for the badge with Porsche crest.
You need your car papers and your personal papers and than you must drive to your Porsche Center and legitimate you.

You should be sure the car has the original keys and locks.

Default Time to post for sale, interested parties please PM

This post brings the thread up to current with all documentation of work i did, or had done. the maintenance log should be attached to this post. At this point now its time to offer the car for sale. I will be submitting to BAT soon, but in the meantime, if anyone is interested in my car, please send me a pm. ill be putting some links in the for sale forum also. I have a price in mind but dont want to post a public asking price for fear of it having an impact of the planned auction. anyone that PMs and asks ill gladly share the offering price. I also have the full set of pictures from the photographer, paintmeter pictures, and a full receipt history back to the original owner for anyone that is looking for more info. it is easier to share this large volume of data with individuals rather than post it here. Hate so see her go, but would be good to put it in another rennlisters hands if possible.
