Default Perhaps new procedure to remove B-2 piston seal and original bushing!

. There is a way of removing the B-2 Seal and the original aluminum bushing and replacing it with the upgraded Teflon bushing without damaging anything, you can actually re-use the seal if you like. Here's what I did . Use a washer at least 0.015 less than 1.250"with a 5mm. hole. Tie a strong thread through the washer . Next tie a thread to a nut. Glue the nut to the washer with cyanoacrylate -crazy glue. Feed the string through the passages of the transmission and through the B-2 piston housing. Manipulate the washer /nut until it is seated in behind the aluminum bushing. Screw in a bolt at least 3.00 overall length. Next with a hammer grab the head of the bolt as you would, removing a nail from a board. Use the transmission case for leverage -comes right out -. Mike

mike,

does the upgrade to teflon translate to a difference in performance on road?

A picture of the custom "tool" would be worth a 1000 words.
