Default Best Manual tranny/differential fluid/oil for ‘79

I don’t expect to have all the various back/forth bantering like the engine oil discussions but I did want to try and get some recommendations and input. I’m hoping to put some miles on the shark this year and figure it might be a good idea to change the fluids just to be safe. I have a ‘79 5-speed with LSD. In addition to oil/fluid are there any additives hat should be included? Thx all

3.8L for both…it’s all connected correct? You just drain in 2 places and fill in 1? The Mobil 1 is okay for LSD? I was reading to make sure I didn’t get anything that had NS.

Yes, the trans and diff case are all one box. Loosen the upper fill plug before draining the oil, or you'll be some kind of sad.

This is the Mobil 1 I get from Amazon:

I second this. Tried Swepco and Redline and both leaked like a sieve on a newly sealed unit. Amazing what a difference s brand can make
